Job Level: Intern

We are looking for a Testing Intern to join our QA team. As an intern, you will assist in manual testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. While the focus is on manual testing, candidates with a foundational knowledge of automation testing and ISTQB principles will have an added advantage. This is an excellent opportunity for those aspiring to start a career in quality assurance and software testing.

Responsibilities

Execute test cases for web and mobile applications based on defined test plans.
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar.
Collaborate with the development team to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
Ensure software functionality meets the requirements by performing functional, regression, and usability testing.
Assist in writing and maintaining test documentation, including test cases, bug reports, and test summaries.
Support in preparing and executing test environments.
Gain hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools, if applicable.

Requirements

Familiarity with manual testing concepts and practices.
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the role of QA in it.
Basic understanding of defect lifecycle management and bug-tracking tools.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent knowledge of testing principles.
Exposure to or experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Postman for API testing.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Basic programming knowledge in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
Experience with databases and ability to execute basic SQL queries for data validation.
